Is there a original part for a on/off switch for the lights? If there isn't, how did you do your switch if you have one.

For the NF's there is a light switch. Here's a pic of some I sold last year.

From my understanding, the wiring diagram had them mounted kind of under the battery box on the driver's LHS, but toward the engine.

I just drilled my holes a couple of days ago. I had to zoom the pdf to see where I needed to drill the holes. I drilled 3 castings and 2 dash towers and had no problems. On the grills I located the top hole and clamped the light bracket on the grill and used that to line up the bottom hole. That way I knew the hole were in the right place for the brackets.:TwoCents:

Funny thing my parts manual dated 1963 shows it being on the right.

That would make it the only cub with them mounted on the right side.:bigthink: I guess that it depends on the serial number on location of the switch.
