129 & 147 wiring
 

This one is for Dr. Roland. I could use the wiring diagrams for a 147 with the electric lift or what's left of it. And also a 129. Have not worked on something with a SG or points in a very LONG time. Has anyone replaced the elec lift with an actuator? If so what did you use and how did you do it?

I could use the hi rez pic and I also need the wiring diagrams for the 129 and the 147. Lets just say it will be easier to start from scratch with these tow. The 129 doesn’t even have a regulator and I don't know where it's supposed to go. Gonna be fun. Good news is after a bit of carb work they both run pretty decent. Had one scare, the gov on the 129 was improperly adjusted, got it shut down before it hurt itself. Adjusted per the Kohler manual and all is good now. Ah the good old days.:biggrin2:

The regulator on the 129 goes next to the battery under the seat.should be 3 plastic connecters there.It is mounted using the two holes on the right side of the battery tray.

Thanks for the lift info. If you have the tractor wiring diagrams for the 129 & 147 I could sure use them. I'll post some pics of the mess the PO made of these poor critters. Some people should just use unpowered push mowers:biggrin2: Can't wait to get into the PTO's Anyone ever put an electric PTO on the vintage Cub's?
