Cub Cadet registry for serial #'s?

I've heard through the grapevine that there's a registry out there for Originals and 169's, or at least a website that you can send your serial #'s to and they will record them to keep track of the rare and popular Cub Cadets. Is this true? If anyone has info on this I'd really appreciate it...

If there isn't such ah thing I'd like to do that for the 169's...

That site has went way about a 1 1/2 years ago and I don't think anyone has started that part of that site back up.

Would there be any interest in starting a simple registry of a certain model? Id like to do the 169 due to my recent interest in them...where I make a spreadsheet, and have people send me their name, serial #, location, and status of tractor (running, non running, etc)

Let me know what you all think! It would be a great way to preserve history of these rare Cubs.

Although I don't have a 169, I think it is a great idea.

I think there should be one for all the models. It would be interesting to keep track of them all.

I agree! :beerchug:

I also agree that all models should be done, but thats a LOT of serial #'s and models to keep track of for one person. If people were interested they could pick a model that they'd like to do. If there isnt any rules or laws against collecting serial #'s I wouldnt mind doing it.

I know Art Aytay from the IHcubcadet forum was collecting data for the 169/1650 on the engine fin count. He had a decent list when he emailed it to me in October. I will have to look and see if I kept it. He would be a big help with the 169's and 1650's serial numbers.

I think it would be a great idea also! Would be great to see how many are still out there and still running! I know over at Redpower.com there are guys that keep track of tractor serial numbers and where they are located.

I know this thread is old, but I was Googleing Cub Cadet Registry to see where my site is located on a Google Listing and this popped up. I have created a site for registering your Cub Cadets as some of you know....

www.ihccregistry.com

Please feel free to add your Cub Cadets to that site and I will add them. :beerchug:
