Kohler rebuild kits
 

Hey guys I was wondering if there are any OEM gasket or rebuild kits to be purchased for Kohler K series engines. If not at least key parts like seals or bearings, can they be purchased from a OEM supplier? If I cant get any OEM parts are the aftermarket kits just as good? If anybody has any info please send it my way and pointers on rebuilding a K161 would be greatly appriciated. Contact me through PM

You will need the Kohler manual. It shows how to do a rebuild and has all of the needed specs.

Our sponsors at the top of each page should be able to get you set up with a Kohler rebuild kit. I use aftermarket myself, except for the head gasket and crank seals in which I do use Kohler for.

The last NAPA head gasket I picked up had the fire ring, pretty much a dead on copy of the Kohler just $4 cheaper.

We'll see how she works once I get the ol 107 runnin

I just go to Napa auto, 5 miles from my house. Better than driving 16 miles to a cub dealer & paying a bit more.
