122 that wont turn over

Well here we go.
I drove 3 hours to pick up a 122.
Then drove 3 hrs home.
Well we loaded the 122 on the trailer it started just fine.
The little booger was charging good.
Tied it down headed for home.
Well it was dark when I got home. Unhooked everything jumped on the booger hit the key and nothing.:BangPC:
Battery wont charge so it must be charged up.
Everything looks ok , but it will not turn over , no click, nothing.:beatdeadhorse:
Anyone have any ideas?

I have to ask,did you leave the key on?

I bet the safety switch is not working, my 102 just did the same thing.

I bet Eric R just called it. Ive had that happen a time or two.

I had the key in my pocket, on the way home.
And the other question is, where is the safety switch and can I bypass the safety switch to see if that is the problem? And if so, how do I do it?
Thanks

I know you are looking to do some troubleshooting doing that, but OCC does not allow anyone to tell or show how to bypass safety switches for any reason. Just too many legal issues involved.

I believe the 122s safety switch is the same as on the 102. You need to be able to get your head under the frame at the foot pedal. Under there you will see the rod that comes from the clutch/brake and connected to that rod is a metal strip that will stick up. When the pedal is pressed that rod moves and makes contact with a button. That button is the safety switch. I believe that is the only safety switch. Sometines that metal strip moves a little and no longer makes contact with the button.

Here is an excerpt from the 122 Wiring Diagram....

Also in the case of my 128, the switch connections had corroded. After cleaning the switch worked again.

Hey Dave,

Sorry you are having such troubles...That thing ran great, started right up and charged all the way up to shutting her off on your trailer...

Has to be something simple...a wire may have broken within the insulation from flexing on the trailers??? VR connections all secured?
