serial number

I have a 69 cub 147.
apparantly the previous owner repainted part of the machine and I can't seem to be able to find the serial number tag. Is this number stamped in the frame?
If so where can i find it. Thanks for any help you can give.CUBSFOREVER!!!

I might be wrong here, but I believe your serial number tag is rivited to the rear of your transmission. If you look at the tractor from behind, look at the bottom left of the diferential and I think it will be there.

I have a 123, my serial number tag, looking from back,riveted to trans,on left hand side.vertical up and down positioned.Phil.:American Flag 1:
