147 deck brought back to life.

Some shots of the 147 deck I did over that last several week.
Had to by a lot of the parts as they were removed for another deck, the 48 inch deck on Eric's 147. Thjis was his original deck for that tractor which PO put a 48 inch on. So this was a spare deck. Replaced idler pulley, and idler spring. Had to buy used spring hitch brackets. Fabed new right wheel bracket PO lost it when the corner of the deck rusted and broke off. PO had to bring me the left runner bar. Right runner bar was at my sons Center pulley had some issues from PO. Had to add a custom " Key " to secure the pulley to the shaft. New belt Some steel cutting, welding, and custom stainless work underneath too. Should they be junked when this bad??? Maybe? This one should have several years left in it now! A good down and dirty get it done project! Rustolium Ivory and OLD CAT Yellow are the colors. Rattle cans. Regards, Chris |

Looks great! I wonder what caused that end to be rusted so badly...they must have stored it next to the sewage lagoon and that end was submerged!
