Here we go again, another 100!

Made me a phone call last night to check out this 100 for sale. Got to talking with the guy and found out in a round about way he knew my family and he talked about being a International dealer years ago. Well one thing led to another and I found out he wasn't more than 30 miles away, well now I have to go and check this thing out, of course I took the trailor just in case.
After a little dealing, and he's moving and had no room for the 100, and wanted to sell it now. I brought it home:beerchug: Doesn't run yet, it's been in a heated shop nearly all it's life, has fenders and sleeve hitch. It's by no means a ten, but I haven't brought one of those home yet:biggrin2: Check out the phone # on the dealer decal! |
yeaaaa you can just go ahead and drop that off here at my house in New York....you have 2! you need to share :beerchug: :beerchug:

Awesome find! And its nice to shoot the bull for a bit too :) Looks like it has the usual drive shaft access hole cut in the frame, but at the very least you have some super nice parts there...fenders, sleeve hitch. Ive picked up cubs in a lot worse shape than that, and they are my workers :beer2:

Todd your fleet is growing fast! Besides the tunnel cover the sheet metal looks good! Great score!

Nice looking 100! Congrats, can't wait till you get it cleaned up. :beerchug:

Yep, theres something wrong with me I think. I can't look at one of these old dogs and not want to bring it home. I've heard of this yellow fever before, but never thought it could happen to me. Ya right!!!
This is the last one for awhile, running out of room, things are starting to get cramped in the shop, and that's another thing I would never let happen. Face it I'm a sap for rusty yellow and white, stinky gas, and weather checked tires:OMG: |
Congrats on your 100! I'm very fond of the 100's! :beerchug:

Cub 100
I've been wanting an 'ol 100 for the longest time and was talking to this old farmer and he tells me that he has one. The old barn has fallen down around this tractor and you can hardly see it through the slats on one corner of this old barn. It looks to be in great condition, headlights, tail light and sleeve hitch and what I can only guess is a Brinley plow laying off to the side of it. Super nice guy pushing 80 years old who won't let it go. Says he's getting to restore it. Darn shame. In my opinion, the best looking Cub Cadet made!!

Nice 100. Something about the look of the original paint, decals, and patina........... Even has the original tires. Congrats! Lot of nice, original cub finds here lately. Gotta love spring.
