Cub 122 with Danco Loader

In my intro Here I made the statement that I would like to have a FEL down the road, well I got the loader first and still trying to track down a tiller and creeper gear. Thanks to Iluvtruks0 for the hook up on the 122 with FEL.

I did pick it up this past Sat. and been having to much fun to post pictures until now. :Sorry: And as you can see my son kinda likes it too. It pulls my sons caboose easily and started giving rides to all the kids Sun. I owe you pictures of the caboose.

The box scraper is a repoduction of one that the PO had made. The PO has quite the collection and I've lined up my next purchase already! So much for a one and done deal I had with my wife! :OhOh:

The lift is a bit weak going to have someone that actually knows about that stuff take a look at it and bring it up to par. Once my shop is built I will strip it down and have it painted (I hate to paint!) Bye bye red paint! I have noticed that there seems to be alot of 122's with FEL's for some reason.

Thanks for Looking!
Duke

Good find on the loader. Not only are they handy as heck but they are fun too. Good Luck with it.

Jeff122 03-09-2010 03:36 PM

That is really sharp. Something else for me to shoot for. Good luck with it.

Methos,

Looks like your son just found his birthday gift!!! What little boy wouldn't like to have his own life size loader. One day when he gets older and has a place of his own, he'll remember the times he spent with dad and his tractor.....It's a nice package, with hydraulic lift and all the extras. Enjoy!!!!

Nice find, loaders are great. Just be very careful though...they're probably the most dangerous piece of equipment made for Cub Cadets.

Thanks David! With out you I'd never would have found it. I was really happy in the shape of it every thing when I went to go look at it.

I have a lot of respect for the people that takes a rust bucket and turns it into a new tractor again. Missing who knows how many parts. I would be afraid that I would get in over my head. This should be fairly easy to do once the garage is built.

Thanks CC Rider! Looking forward to using it! I was able to get wheel weights for it (they are blue) and plan on loading the tires. I also will have the tiller or a counter weight box off the back, so I should be ok.

Thanks Nick! The PO was intent on having the box blade as close to factory as posbile. He has quite the collection! I have no clue how many tractors he has but it's a lot!

The best thing I got out of this purchase was meeting two great men.

Thanks Jason! The red isn't as bad as I thought it was when I heard what color it was. The person that painted it did a pretty good job! All the metal is in really good shape. When you pop the hood you can tell they did striped it down painted everything red. I guess they wanted it Farmall red.

Thanks Cub Cadet 123! Haha if it was a hydro model I'd be in trouble right now he can't drive it. He's a really good son and friend he's always helping me around the yard and trying to learn. He's great to be around. He's a better son then I was to my dad I'd get bored to easy and off I'd go! Poor dad had to get his own tools then!

I think I got really good package with the hydraulic rear lift and box scrape on the back and that loader is going to get used! Once I score that tiller and creeper I'll be set (for this one hehe)

Thanks Matt! I will be careful. I've used FEL's before just not this small. I tend to be safe in everything I do but accidents can and will happen.
