I've got the itch...

But I can't scratch it!

I've been searching for a while for another Cub or attachment to add to my collection but pickings seem sparse in south Jersey. Seems all the deals I find on CL and evilpay are just too far, its driving me up a wall. :bash2:

Sorry, just had to vent.

They are some good buys in SJ, that's where I got my 782.There is an auction in the Burlington area that has 3 -122's one with a hydro lift. I know there are plenty up here....You just gotta be patient

ACecil 10-12-2011 04:57 PM

I agree, with Lew. One will come along, when you least expect it. :beerchug:

Ive had some pretty good luck finding tractors here in south jersey. Attachments are
another story though.

Well I actually scored a 12" Brinly plow last week.

Best part about that was the fellow I bought it off of is also a Cub nut!
Spent some time chatting and drooling over his collection.

I feel better now :beer2:

like i had an itch for a new toy. i found a 1450 on cl for $75. the hiredman is buying it for me because he owes me $75. yeah for me.

ksanders 11-15-2011 03:07 PM

Worst thing you can do is search all day and night and drive yourself crazy. They'll come along when you least expect it or aren't really looking. I have been looking for a 59M chipper for at least 6 years now and never can seal a deal. I bought one last week out of nowhere that I never expected. :beerchug: Had to jump on it and change my whole weekend plans but that's part of it.

Half the fun of collecting is the hunt

Donovan M. 11-15-2011 05:03 PM

yup
what he said:biggrin2:

One more thing to add. Remember this thread when you have 10 and don't know which ones to get rid of when 3 more come along :biggrin2:

Here's the only pic I have. You could say this cured my itch. It's about the last thing I really wanted as far as collecting. I plan to use it a lot actually but learned the hard way not to throw 1.5" limbs in it. It took it like it wasn't really there but ripped it out of my hands and scared the crap out of me. Note to all: older chippers are DANGEROUS. USE CAUTION

jpackard56 11-15-2011 10:50 PM

Hard to cure this "Yellar Fever stuff"

I'm guessing $400 won't actually cure it ! But it probably will provide some temporary relief:biggrin2:

Leadslingingdaddy 11-18-2011 10:24 PM

Or when they give them away!!!

jkier 11-29-2011 08:51 AM

Well,
You guys don't know how right you are.

After scratching the itch with the brinly plow I felt some what better.

Then what should happen?
A 107 with a decent 1A tiller with extension pops up.
and its on my way to work, and its a friend of a friend, and its now mine!

Now an "O" with plow pops up right behind my office! Arrgh!

I hate to say it but I'm going to have to thin the herd now.
:bigthink:

ACecil 11-29-2011 11:15 AM

Congrats on the new cubs!

I've essentially got four identical tractors
107 123 127 147

Need that "O" for a gear drive!

There's just no room at the inn!
