I sent the pictures for the decals to Maple Hunter..... and that's where I am. Haven't heard from them for 9 days. No emails, no calls, no we don't want to do it, no we're working on it.... NOTHING. I emailed them this afternoon.... no reply as of yet. Now, I usually expect an email response in 24 hours, so if I don't hear back by tomorrow afternoon, I'll likely give them a call. At this point, not too impressed with their customer service, but they have the chance to redeem themselves, should they choose to. I'll let you guys know!

It usually take some time before they respond to emails. I think the last time I emailed them it was about 3 weeks but they warrantied a decal that was two years old so I can't complain. I think it's just a small operation with him and his wife.

Well, I just went back through my emails. I first contacted Maple Hunter on Jan 28th to discuss making the decals. I sent them the last of the pics on Feb 4th. My last contact from them was Feb 15th, two days after I contacted them to ask where they were in the process. The lady said she would find out and get back to me.... (As of yet, no reply.) I think it's time to find another company to look at the artwork.:angry:

Had a similar experience with un available decals for the 1864. Let us know if you come up with anything. :beer2:

Jonathan, I don't know if you had the chance to use your 268 yet or if you are waiting for decals to top it off before its inaugural new run or if you even had enough snow in Illi....but here was an old thread of my 268 working a drift. A real power house and lots of fun. Have fun with yours!

Well, Maxwell, all the above! I haven't worked on the engine yet, so as of now it still doesn't run. I want to complete the "refresh" of the blower housing before I start on the tractor end of the machine. We didn't have any snow to speak of in my area this year, so didn't need it anyway.

I remember that thread. I see I didn't post in it, but I remember seeing it. Looks like it will eat! Too bad you didn't take a video! :beerchug:
