I'll bring my trailer too.:biggrin2:

Well, we might have to meet a little closer to me...much as I love "the Dragon", the round trip fuel costs would be prohibitive...towing trailer I am getting 11mpg.

Drop me a PM if you're interested in the tractor. Just read about a program at Fastenal (the fastener company) where they will palletize anything you bring to a local store, and drop it at any other store, for very reasonable rates. Or we can figure something out.

I'd really like to see one someone who knows about these tractors get this, if it can be worked out...

I never realized they made yellow 982 Cadets! Personally I like it. That said, I live on a farm so we have full size tractors which means I don't have need of rear PTO's and 3pt hitch nor do I need turning brakes on a lawn mower. But I do love my 2 Supers! Dad mowed his yard with the 982 today. You'd think at 86 he'd chose the 2072 due to power steering.:bigthink: If I didn't have other tractors, my opinion about options would probably change!

It was jaynjeep. I'll bet he meant a red one, but I could be wrong

Someone (I think from GA) posted in "Wanted" section, and I replied on that thread. Will drop him a PM, as well.

Your dad sounds like my kind of guy. :)

Hey guys it was me... been out of pocket for a few days with the wheat harvest starting.. I did want a red 982 but after seeing the yellow one that is pretty cool also! I don't need a SUPER.... already got two.. just thought I may round out the collection a bit with the earliest super..distance may be an issue but we may see what fastenal will do for us.

Thanks for the heads up!:beerchug:

FYI- Fastenal came back with a quote: $225 to ship from upstate New York to Georgia.

If anyone is considering shipping large items, this seems like a bargain. The tractor is nearly 1000lbs.

You are a little over an hour or so from me....
Might be interest if the price is right.

Funny thing. I just paid $150 to ship an Onan B48G from Indiana through Fastenal but they quoted me $225 to ship this 1000LB tractor to Georgia...go figure. I would have not made the deal on the engine if I checked on the shipping first but I told the po I would take it and I am a man of my word.....Check on the shipping first.:biggrin2:

Dbarufaldi, I was waiting on JaynJeep to pull the trigger so I'm waiting on him to decide if he wants it or not. I know shipping it will be a pain in the butt but I'm still interested if Jay backs out. :beerchug:
