Just curious, what fluid did you use? Cub Cadet Hydraulic transmission fluid, Hytran, or something else?

I will say this, in cold temps cavitation ( noise) is a problem with higher viscosity fluids.
Hy guard(low viscosity) and hytran is quieter in cold temps.
I have like most others, heard 2 identical hydros with a big variance in wine.
Given identical specks in manufacturing of parts, I always wondered about that.
The last hydro I had apart, I checked the piston lengths from slipper to piston head and found a variance, always wondered it that had something to do with it, or if it was in the valve plates.:bigthink:

I used Hytran, because this is my worker. It looked like it had Hytran in it before as well. The oil was well used and had some build up in the bottom of the case.
