Do the lower bolts need a shim in between the mount? I swapped one the other day and it did the same thing. I had an extra that the windings in the case came apart so I just robbed the end off it.

You want the bolts tight. They will work themselves out and cause the problem Feoe.RL has.

+1 ive seen many s/g missing a bolt from not being tightened.

Im guessing this is where locktight comes in handy?

You got a good point there OldSkull. This guy was very highly recommended so im sure it couldn't have been done any better. I will keep ya'll updated on the k301 rebuild. I will be posting up many more pictures on my profile.
