Thank you everyone especially J-Mech for that drawing. It was tough trying to get my hands and a short screwdriver in there then see what was going on too. I got the new old steering column in and everything back together. It works great now. Even did the steering upgrade with the NICE bearing.

Glad you got it sorted out. That clip as I said can be a PITA, poor design. :beerchug:
