got some paint on it finally need to wet sand a few runs out and ad second coat

Looks good, I'm in the process of sanding on a 782 getting it ready for paint, what kind of paint are you using?

have a place locally called blaines farm and fleet they had valspar enamel in IH red got a quart of that and some hardener. shot it thru a 20 dollar gun and boy did i get what i paid for. woulda worked better using a brush lol

I just bought a gun for $16 at Harbor Freight because of the good things I read about them in forums. Is that where you got yours? I'm a little nervous now!

nope got mine a that blaines place. im sure its my fault talked to my sister in law who has a body shop (too lazy to make the 60 mile round trip twice to have her do it) said from what i told her paint was too thick. so im sure its my fault cuz even for 20 dollars im sure it should have worked better than it did. se said hit it with 600 grit wet dry paper to remove runs and hit it again with thinner paint

been a long while since last update tractor is back running. didnt paint hood and sides or fenders cuz i knew fitting the cab would scratch them up boy was i rite. got cab mounted need to take back apart and throw some paint at it heres a few pics just so ya dont yell at me... it was a john deere cab i picked up for 20 bucks (wich im sure is a lew price) had to cut the foot boxes off it and fab up some new ones ... well here ya go
