This is the nut I'm after correct?

Yup that's the right nut. Had to adjust mine on a 1971 107. My dad took a piece of bar stock and cut a 1-1/16 slot in one end, and made a square hole big enough for a 3/8 ratchet. Kind of like a crow's foot. Most regular wrenches were too long to fit.

I have a wrench I could cut and stuff. I was reading there are 2 friction disk in there. Are these wore out? Or the nut just loose?
