OK guys what is the hot setup for getting rid of moles.

Either two shovels, one to trap then from running the other to pop them out of the ground and hit them with it. Or kill their food supply, grubs.

Local farm supply claims to have some kind of worm that they sell that is poisonous to moles, have any of you ever heard anything about this?

Call Bill Murray from Caddyshack. Oh wait, that was a funny looking groundhog.

You need to borrow my parent's dog, Sam. He's a Black Lab mix. He'll lay out by active mole runs and listen, for hours at a time. Next thing you know, he's digging a hole and pulling out a mole. He averages roughly 40-50 moles a year. Kinda slowing down in his old age, though.

I haven't heard about the worms. I am curious too

I have pondered making my own rodenator. I have O2, propane, and an old grill igniter. Just need a little spare time to fab something up.

They are chasing after the grubs. Get rid of them, they'll leave. I've heard that Preen works, but any insecticide should get rid of them. I'm not sure who to recommend talking to. If I was looking for granular insecticide, I'd go to the local Farm Service, (FS, but I don't know if they are in your area). Local farmer, anyone who deals in agricultural chemicals. If your lucky, you won't need a chemical license to purchase. If you do, get a farmer to buy it for you. Or, maybe a local turf/lawn care specialist. Local golf coarse greens manager too.
