Default Cat 0 for the 2072
Thinking about putting a 3 pt. on the 2072 extreme makes one as we'll as Ruegg (a green guy) but he does make nor for the supers they are about the same price. Anyone have experience with either one or able to compare?

My preference would be to find an original 3pt and pto setup and put it on. You can find them if you keep a look out. Price is crazy though. The last one i saw for sale was about 650.

I do have an Extreme 3pt on a non super cub, 129. It is a nice set-up and the price is a little better. I think it was around 425. There is no pto also.

I do not have any experience with the Ruegg hitches so I can't comment on them.

Ruegg makes a long arm 3 pt. hitch for supers that a PTO can be installed behind and looks like the original ones with a few mods. The Extreme is the short arm style as used on the non supers with a mod to fit the supers. About the same price. The long arm design is a heavier duty hitch throughout.

That's a no brainer. The Ruegg hitch is the only way to go on a super. They are cheaper ($465 shipped to my door) and a lot heavier then the Xtreme GT hitches and are very hard to tell apart from the OEM 383 hitch. Aaron does build top notch stuff, just not SGT hitches

There's that tractor in the kitchen again..... How do you get your wife to let you do that Todd?

Anyone ever try and put the Ruegg hitch on a GT? I can't see any reason why you can't notch the frame at the top corner like the SGT and put it on one.

I have bought two Ruegg 3pt hitches and they are well made. They were for the green machines but the construction is top notch. I have talked to Bill Ruegg on the phone and he will listen to your questions and sell you any part of his stuff that you may need without a lot of forms or BS. In my orders he has always included all the quick release pins and any hitch pin or bolt/nut needed for installation.

Default Ruegg 3-point
Get a Ruegg 3-point. I have a limited Cat 1 on my 332. I know it's Green, but the hitch is great. On a Super, see if he will make it with Cat 1 arms. It allows a lot more flexibility in attachments. I have a Cat 1 4" blade I found cheap. There are a lot of small Cat 1 implements that a Super can handle.
