Default 1782 fuel filter

I'm looking for info on where the fuel filter gets mounted on a 1782. I'm putting a diesel in a 2182 and not sure where the diesel fuel filter gets mounted.

Thanks

Welcome to OCC! It's mounted on the left side, it actually should have two, an in line filter before the electric pump, then the cartridge filter before the injector pump. The electric pump is mounted under the engine mount, I think you can see it a little in the pic. We would love to see some pictures of your cub!

That will be a sweet tractor! That should be an easy swap and you will have a 22hp diesel! Can't wait to see your progress!

Hopefully it works out. if the engine wouldve had the right front cover probably wouldve had it in tonight. This front cover has the oil filter on same side as injection pump. need to modify engine mounts.

How close does your air filter bracket com to your glow plugs? Mine are closer then what I would like to see. Not sure if these are taller.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
