It's easy to become annoyed, frustrated and even enraged when you see what people are doing to a nice old cub when you consider how many POS mowers there are to chose from in the world, yet when you step back and look at it, if I were going to start tearing through the woods I doubt I would want to do it on anything but a cub, since I know how tough they are. This is probably why the CC came in "1st place" and did not suffer any knowable mechanical errors.

Other than the wheelies, I don't see how anything they did would hurt that Cub.

The cub was not damaged!
Hello first and foremost my name is Bryan and the Cub made it through the race flawlessly. I am a small engine shop owner and a collector of vintage power equipment and this Cub is being retired and will be undergoing a full restoration this winter. I acquired it with a deck in full running order in return for fixing a leaf blower for a customer. I will be looking for fenders, clutch cover and decal set if anybody knows where to find them. I most recently have been getting a name for being one of the only shops in my area to work on and be knowledgeable of older equipment. I grew up on my grandfathers lap on his 1971 JD 110 and restored that when I was young. I primarily do a lot of antique chainsaw work Mall, Disston, Remington, Homelite, Poulan (pre-plastic). You can be assured the Cub is in good hands! Any info is always appreciated!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
