Default It Only Took One Bolt to Make It Comfortable!!

Skinny Guys, just move on!!

Are they gone now?

OK, now that they are gone, the rest of us need more comfort!!

Those seat springs flex too much when the going gets rough!!

Here is how to make that GT ride MUCH better.

And it only took one bolt.

We all got a donor tractor ready to give up the extra spring.

I hope my diet keeps me at 3 springs, and I do not have to go to 4!!

You can try it without a bolt, just slip the extra spring in and it will stay there for a test run.

well i put a wood block under my seat so it could only move about 1/4" it alittle rough but it not like we are doing 60mph on these tractors if i was going to use third spring i mount it to the tractor and not the seat and turn it around i think that work good.

You're only on one diet? Heck, I'm on two diets.....my first one didn't give me enough to eat, so I went on a second one!

Great mod and idea that is easily reversible without damage to the cub!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
