Grass Screen
I was happily mowing in the sunshine today w/my 127 when, alas, I heard a hoorible grinding from the motor compartment. To my relief, it was only the grass screen on the engine flywheel cover. It had broken loose from its mounts and was hitting the flywheel cover.
My quick fix was to remove the clutch shield and cut the screen out. My guess is that the screen is not all that vital, especially w/the clutch shield in place. However, I would like to replace it. I assume that the screens can be found from a parts dealer. My question is, do I really have to pull the motor to replace it? I don't see any other way. Am I correct? Mike
