Smile 108 Almost Finished. Thanks to Users!

Hello everyone. Started working on all my Cubs 1 at a time. The 108 was the first to get "freshened up". I do not "refinish" any of them. I like the history and look the patina has given them.

Here is what I did:

-New Exhaust
-Rebuilt carb
-New fuel filter
-New fuel line
-New petcock
-New to me Hood extension, head light panel and hinge
THANK YOU olds45512. Yours worked and blends in great!!!
-New hood t-bolts
THANK YOU Jeff in PA!!!!!

And I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Mark (Yosemite Sam). Nice guy. Came up to my house and bought some snow throwers from me. Has answered many of my questions via text. Good person!!

Needs seat, air filter and wing nut for air filter cover. Couple weeks I will get them. Mommas Jeep needs a new part and that is always first.

Take care all and enjoy your Cubs!!!

John

I think John doesn't always tell the truth... I did go to his house, I did buy his snow throwers, we did text and he did get his 108 finished. But as everyone here knows, I'm not a nice guy nor a good person!

All kidding aside, glad you got your 108 finished... Good work.

John is a nice fellow, even if he does like Quiet Lines...

Now get to work on that loader and keep us updated.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
