Exclamation 1450, what would you offer?
Interested in a local 1450 to use as a parts tractor or to restore (and use mine for spares). There is no way I'd give him his asking price though. I am going to look at it tomorrow or Saturday in person.

Half of asking would be tops 150 would be better. Wait for a local member to tell you what they go for around you

I wouldn't go over $100 unless I specifically needed some expensive part. Looks like everything there needs work.

Several like that went for $50 each at an auction here 2 years ago.
One even had a tree growing up through the dash!!
Proverbial "basket case" is what that one looks like IMHO
For his asking price, it should at least run, mow and be all there.

You won't get hurt at $150. The headlights are worth $50-$60, switch worth $20-$30, hydraulic lift parts (??--$75), side panel $20-$25, tunnel cover, deck, etc. The thing on the back baffles me, is that a tool tray he has on it behind the seat?

I would not go over $150 for it though.

Well, in my opinion $200 tops but I'd talk to the guy and let him know what all its gonna take to get it back to running. Maybe he'll see that he's to high on his asking price. Then the offer him $100.

Guess I missed the headlights, that's a plus. Chances are the H/L switch is trash as well as the starter switch and even the PTO switch would be suspect w/o being able to test them. Neither of them like water.

Check 'em all on the underside behind the dash, if there is access. most likely will find a mass of rust on the terminals and/or broken ones.

It's a Big Ben machine I guess. I could have used it a couple years ago myself and in the end, paid more than that total for the parts I needed for mine.
