Default Rear lens replacement for quiet line

I look for one missing lens for the QL 1450, I found only one for sale and the asking price was $30! A bit to much for my son fun project. One site propose a direct replacement lens from Peterson and they look to fit direct over the OEM base apparently, Here the link:
http://www.crouchcampers.com/id10.html

I decide to search a bit more and found out they look like pretty similar in size so I decide to order 2 set from this place:http://www.vehiclesafetysupply.com/p...5831.html#tab2

I wonder if any of you have try them?

In the mid time I will try to hunt some old RV store for the missing OEM one...I cross my fingers!

Cub Cadet used the Vendor called Bargman for the Q/L Rear Lights. The original lamp assembly was a 378. (SAE P2-A-75)

Reflect-o-lite (Chicago, ILL.) is the original maker of the 378 (SAE P2-A-75), the last owner of this brand was Unarco Industries, inc. Were this became unclear is how Bargman end up producing the complete line of Reflec-O-Lite electric light and lens. They must have purchase them but I can't find no record of this transaction anywhere!

Bargman stop the production of the #378, so the only option we got is to find NOS and pay "X" times the OEM price or find used one on old camping trailer! In both scenario you may get out of luck or get home empty pocket.

The Peterson V2546R is a close match but they seams to have no reflector in the lens. I wish I can find the missing OEM lens I need but they are pretty rare and expensive today.

I am in the same boat you are in. I have been scouring the web for NOS or someone selling theirs and even craigslist part outs. I may have to resort to the Vehiclesafetysupply.com lense that you linked.....it will fit the fender just fine, but its not the same lense. Or so it seems...... But for $6.32 for a pair, I just may use them until I can find NOS.

I share your deception! Let's make a deal! If I find few of them, I keep 2 for your project! If you end up finding a extra lens you sell it to me!

I wish you good luck!

Those from vehicle link look pretty good, don't know if rear lights are available for 1211 cubs but they look good. I would go with the ones in the link not bad price .

I think it is is important to note that the reflector lenses comes in handy when near roads so you are seen buy approaching cars at night.

I agree 100%! That's why they sell safety reflector stickers, here a small one I can stick behind the seat (7" high x 8" wide)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMV-Slow-Mov...item339329edea

We can stick a bigger one behind the rear weight box if need

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
