Default 682 Blades spin while tractor turns over
Went to start the 682 and the blades spin while trying to start it. The fuses are good, pto belt tension good, I replaced the pto switch, bypassed seat saftey switch. Still does it. Any help would be appreciated

If you mean the PTO is engaged when you start then you probably have a seized PTO bearing. It is fairly common and happened to me a few years ago.

did you take the belt off the PTO? I assume it starts fine if you do.

I'd look into the bearing, as well. I had the same thing happen; started fine one day, the next the deck starts with it. Replace or repair the bearing and see what happens. Good luck

Take the belt off the PTO and try to spin the pulley....it should spin rather freely. Then, like suggested above, the bearing could have seized up.

If it spins the deck with the starter....... pretty sure it isn't going to turn "freely" by hand.
