Default Bama plow day

Anybody from OCC going to Horton, Alabama Saturday to plow or will I be the only Cub Cadet tractor in the land of Deere's? Wish me luck and I promise to take lots of pictures if it doesn't get rained out.

I'm planning on being there. Will bring along a 1450 and 782. It's been a couple of years since I last attended. Great people and good times! Really looking forward to going back!

It is a WFM event, however, I do believe all GT's are welcome...

What a great plow day, the weather was beautiful, great people and nice soil to turn. As promised here are some pics.

Nothing like drinking a cup of coffee early in the morning with a view like this.

The line up. Not all were in this pic. Lots of green at this PD.

Here is another group from Tennessee. Cliff is on the 73, his uncle on the 149 and Kaitlin on the green stripe 109. These machines were also very nice. Cliff's David Bradley was also very nice and he even made one lap around the field plowing with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
