That's prett sharp! I imagine the steering wheel being tall may help some with pulling and leaning back when you drive. I like the blue and white paint scheme.

Fantastic job on the tractor. Are the fenders off of an old sear suburban tractor? Look really nice. I think I would have the Cobra Jet snake airbrushed on the sides of the hood.

The fenders are from a 1967 Sears Custom 6. They bolted to the frame. The battery box had to be narrowed, which left no room for the voltage regulator. It's mounted on the upper grill. I made a new wiring harness.
The hood looks better in the photos than it is. When I replace it with a good, straight one I'll add decals.

I have enough of that vinyl to do two more dash tins (the size of a 149). I don't have any plans for it. Anyone wants a piece, PM me with your mailing address. I'll send it to you. No charge (free).

Love that tractor. And that seat, reminds me of hangin off the back of the Super H! And your attention to detail on the wiring, that I can see on the picture of the regulator. Forgive my ignorance sir, on the dash picture, is that throttle lever a stock item? I could really use something like that on my tractor!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
