Thanks!

I don't know why photobucket takes so long to correct the positioning of the photos, but they hopefully will right themselves like the other ones quickly.

Thanks alot guys for the support. Everyone that has seen has liked it, but most don't understand why in the world I would do this to such a old tractor, I just say "Its a Cub thing."

I have a Deep cycle mounted on the receiver hitch on the back. I'll put up photos once I have it put together.

This shows the cut made to mount a linear actuator to lift the mower deck if I would ever install it.

Rear shot -

Battery mounted and cables run. I have yet to wire the front lights. Going to wait tell I get the engine in.

Radio, inverter, and pto control installed. -

If you notice the hydro control is on the other side now. I did this because the steering and shifting columns are slightly off to the left and the lever was hitting my knee. Good clearance on the right side though. Going to take some getting used to the reverse controls, but shouldn't be too bad.

That cab looks almost too pretty to take out and play in the snow. Almost but not quite.

So I just got my hands on a Kubota z482 engine from a friend tonight. I think that the 147 may end up the 147D...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
