124 on youtube
Hi all,
I am new to the site. I have a 124 and also a 72. I am in the process of restoring/working on these tractors. I am posting videos on Youtube as i restore my 124. If you would like to see it, here is the url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brve8Af0_I4 If that doesn't work you can type in cub 124 and find it. I am in the process of restoring it so i will be posting videos and showing how i am doing it. In a few days i will post a video of putting in my new clutch and throwout bearing. Thanks |

Man am I glad I looked at your video. I am about to do some work which will require me to remove the engine (My first time). All this time, in my mind, I was doing a high lift so to speak. But after seeing your video it looks like it will be a snap after removing the nose piece. It's sorta one of those why didn't I think of that things. Nice video I want to see more of them. And thanks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
