Kubota Engine Conversion
This past week I stumbled onto a couple of Kubota engines. One is a D950 diesel in a F200 Kubota mower and the other one is a 3 cylinder power unit running on propane.
I can get both engines at good prices. The old hot rodder in me is wanting to do an engine swap in my 2086. I'd like to swap out the Kawasaki engine. I'd like some input concerning using either of these Kubota engines. Is the D950 the same physical size as a 600 series? How big a deal would it be to switch the propane over to gas? Any help appreciated. Thanks Tim

Propane to regular is usually just replacing the propande carb etc with a gas carb. what is the hp rating of the propane unit?
