One final attempt, haven't tested it yet but I'll get some aluminum tape to seal it. Need to drill out a hole in the block for the bottom baffle bolt. Realized that my carb side engine tin is broke in half, so need a new one of those. This just keeps getting worse.
Just need to throw the engine tins back on and seal it all up. If this don't work, I'll just buy a better muffler. Edit: Figured out my muffler was brute forced off the elbow, so that's why it's broke. |

2. I looked at the pics the guy sent me to verify they were the parts I need before taking everything off, the exhaust clamp and muffler were still not broke. He pulled the muffler off crooked and busted it. Doesn't help that the elbow was rusty. |

Listen kid, pulling the muffler off crooked didn't break it. It had to be cracked already. The steel a muffler is made of will bend before it breaks. A rusty elbow had nothing to do with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
