Trailer repair
Fixing up a little 2 axle trailer, it's about 5'x7', and it has 4 completely flat tires, the sides are completely destroyed, and the wire floor is about falling about. Planning on painting it yellow, putting a wood floor on it, and making it a little bale trailer.
It need wheel bearings and tire tubes. The 16x6.50-8 rear tires are completely flat and the front 4.80x4-8 tires have no wheel bearings. Anyone know where to get a cheap set of bearings? They're 3/4" spindles, same as a cub. |

You could probably buy the whole wheel with tires and bearings from your local big box stores like TSC.

Sounds more like a wagon, than a trailer. WHY would there be two different size wheels and tires?

Also they're only 2 ply and rated for 100 pounds combined. And about the part number: There is none. |

1250 and a trailer tire change. A tire change doesn't really take up that much time or mental capacity.

One glaring fact of life is that some have more mental capacity than others.
It is nice to concentrate on one project at a time, but really if all you are concentrating on is one cub project it means you are letting more important work slide. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
