I don't really enjoy watching football on TV.. I find myself thinking about all the other things I could be doing... mainly working on my Cubs!

It's gone from a game I enjoyed to a bunch of overpaid spoiled brats.

I have better things to do

You speak the truth of course. I follow a lot of college ball. Of course in doing that it makes you kind of want to see this guys play once they make it in the NFL. But yes. It's gotten ridiculous

Saquon Barkley grew up about 15 north of me and was a standout at Penn State. The Giants drafted him and so far, he's kept his head on his shoulders. First thing he bought with his NFL contract money was a house for his Mom. He plans to bank his salary and live off endorsement.

I hope he is able to follow that and do well.

It's just a bunch of thugs in the National Felon League for the most part ( at least what you hear about )

Sports have evolved here over the years. NFL has always had some followers but nothing tremendous, maybe more now, but its too violent for my taste and the whole knee thing pisses me off. Nascar well that was a Southern mans sport, then the 90's happened, ruined the sport--fan base is way smaller. Hockey, well we got so many Yankees here now they had to bring it with them--and soccer too. Baseball, around here a lot of Braves and Devil Rays fans--both connected with the hometown Durham Bulls (think the movie Bull Durham and yes there was a Cadet in that movie).

But the thing around here that gets everyone fired up is college basketball. I'm smack in the middle of Tobacco Road. The shade of blue you wear makes friends and enemies real quick. There really are only 2 teams, the rest of ya'll just WISH you had a decent team. FWIW, my son is applying to college at both shades of blue---if he goes to one of them I may never be able to show my face in public again!

Haven't watched a bunch of overpaid people "play" games in years. Of any sort. I'd rather watch paint dry, and have.
The only "sports" I like, are pursuing wild things, and putting them in the freezer.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
