That's neat, Jonathan. I've always liked the looks of the Lo-Boys. I almost bought one a couple years ago, but just can't justify it. You'll have it running in no time! congrats!

As far as the PTO and a reverser..... That would be expensive! But, to my knowledge, they didn't make one for that particular PTO. The old F-Cubs PTO was the same as the Cub Cadets, and the Hub City one will work on them. This has a independent live PTO, and it just sticks out the back above the trans. I don't think they ever made one. I've been trying to figure out how to make one.... but haven't come up with anything yet. [/QUOTE]

Jon

Maybe you could modify something like this to work

Thanks Frank! I hope so! I've been looking it over, and making a list of parts. Someone really grenaded the clutch on this thing.

Thanks Sam! Those may work! I knew Hub City was still in business, but hadn't taken the time to see what they had available. I had looked at their stuff before, but it had been a while. Like I just said to Frank, someone really tore up the clutch on this thing.... Gotta make it run first.

Thanks Allen and Nick!

Like I always say, "If you want something done, give it to a busy man."

Jonathan, I think that's you!

Well, your right about the busy part.... but some days it doesn't feel like I get anything done! I've had about 10 days of that here lately. Got a truck here in the shop that JUST WON'T LEAVE!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
