Who's a looking forward to moving snow
I am. Last year we got 3 2-3" snowfalls before IIstarted rebuilding the 104. Then it dumped 8" tthis year I am ready. Loaded my turf tires, installed an electric lift, and added a rubber plow edge. That on top of having a tractor that doesn't smoke like a chimney is going to make snow removal a breeze this year.

I would not be a country boy if I did not split wire wood, and run a IH Cub Cadet in the winter! There is way too much year round work down south, and way too hot in the summer. The 4 seasons are beautiful here in N.E Ohio, I have the 71 all ready!

I also have a large stack of logs up against the one side of the garage that all needs to get split. If it would ever stop raining and get cold (Freeze the wood) id get to it. Wood splits so much easier when its frozen.

He's got the cab figured out. Now only thing to figure out is blade or thrower.
When I was young we always had a lot of snow. Now it is very rare to need a plow or thrower around here. But if they talk about snow people raid the stores and close the schools for a month.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
