I appreciate the comments on this thread and people being transparent; you don't see that very often any more these days. And to think no one has said "its somebody else's fault."

My wife is a respiratory therapist at our local trauma center. When you can't breathe, have to be on oxygen, or come back from a surgery and your lungs do not function the way they are supposed to, she is the one that will be there to help you survive. In the 15 years we have been together, I have heard countless horror stories about men and women, the comments they make, their regrets, their pain, their financial burden, and family issues because of it. I can honestly say, there has not been a single time she has told me any of her patients have said they were glad they did it and would keep doing it. Every single person has said they regret even starting; you know that line "if I only knew then what I know now." But I get it, its tough to break the habit and I will be the last person to judge. Although it does make me scratch my head when here of people "blowing themselves up" as they were smoking while wearing their oxygen mask (our neighbor who burnt his house down in the process). But that shows how strong of a pull it has. It has to be willpower more than anything. Its a knock down, drag out fight and I wish anyone who deals with this the best of luck. Stay at it and keep fighting.

Thanks for asking!

I am a little disappointed in how the acupuncture is working.... I'll try and keep this brief, LOL.

Apparently, they can treat several addictions and the treatment for each is different, but very similar. I have drank Mt. Dew for over 20 years. In the last few years, it got pretty bad. I cut back a couple times, but you never saw me without one nearby. Well.... after the 3rd treatment, I can't stand the stuff! I finally drank one recently out of desperation (literally nothing else to drink) and I was able to drink it. Overall, my caffeine intake has really dropped. Still need my coffee, and I like tea.... Point is: she killed my Mt. Dew and half of my caffeine intake. So, I had to go through caffeine withdraw, AND nicotine withdraw....

So far, I still smoke, but half as much as I was. I had to take a break from the acupuncture. Partly because after a while... you kind of get sore, and also because I was paying out of pocket. If it was working faster, I might have forked over some more cash, but it seemed like it worked to a point, then kind of hit a rut. I plan to try again in a couple weeks. Maybe it will work like the first few did and I'll cut it in half again.

I've went over to one of those vape things. Havnt smoked a cigerette in 2 months and I've went from 12 mg nicotine in the juice down to 3. My next batch of liquid is gonna be 1.5 and then 0. Hope I can kick it all after that. I breath so much better ya cant even laugh at it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
