Default Carb removal

Hey guys I have a 30" Cub Cadet 4-5 years old that I need to remove the carb for cleaning, only runs with choke at half closed position. What steps do I have to go through to remove the carb? What do I have to remove to get at it easily?
Thanks
Lynn

That’s strange. I’ll attach a pic of the tag.
With it only being able to run with choke half on do you think if I just take the jet out and soak it in kleenflo over nite may clear up the problem? Or is removing the carb to give it a soak more inline with this problem?

Specifics would help,
Cub/and later MTD makes snow blowers, tillers, garden tractors, weed wackers push lawn mowers, leaf blowers ETC, ETC.
Normally one disconnects the fuel line, linkage, associated air cleaner and mounting bolts.

that would be a generic answer to your generic question.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
