Default Cub Cadet 105 and #2 trailer

1968 Cub Cadet 105 hydrostatic and #2 trailer. Owned it for five years and have used it weekly except for winter. Runs great, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak a drip. All lights work, and has a 42-inch deck. $950 for both (would prefer NOT to split up tractor and trailer). I am selling because we need a larger tractor for what we have planned for our property; otherwise, I'd continue to use it.

Trailer has surface rust but no holes. Back slides up fine, and trailer tilts back.

Work done since I've owned it:
a) Rebuilt hydrostatic transmission, replaced wiring for lights, fixed steering, winter of 2016-17 (KJM Industries, Glastonbury).
b) Blades and tune-up, replaced belts, winter of 2019 (STW Tractor, Lebanon)
c) Rebuilt PTO, spring of 2020 (Hall's Power Equipment, Haddam)

Video available upon request of me using it today to mow (11/21/20).

Located in Old Lyme, Conn. Do not need help selling it, buyer responsible for pickup, cash only. I'm also posting this locally on FB Marketplace and Craigslist. Contact me at: [email protected]

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
