1554 charging issues

Hello all. First time using this site so let me just start by saying thanks for having me. I have a lt 1554 2003 that i bought used last year with about 100 hours on it a few weeks ago now with just over 200h on it it died on me. after some quick diagnostics i realized my rectifier/regulator was pushing 20v into the battery intern frying it. I replaced it with an online equivalent (not the most expensive i found ) at that point it was just at 12V I dont have the service manual for the tractor yet so my question is what is the amp/voltage i am looking for out of the stator and regulator. after using it twice the charging system is now only at 8-9v and the tractor is again dying I dont know if I have a bad rectifier or my stator is shot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
