Snowblower from Super to 782
Hello All! I saw a 190-450 for sale and curious if it can be mounted on a 782. I see it lifts from the bottom of frame where a 782 lifts from outside mid frame. Does it need a different lift rod or is the blower specifically made for the Supers? Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Bill

Yes, it will work - https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...43&postcount=2
But may require some drilling and bolting on the frame - http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23428

From the reach that I done, this is what I found. The 190-450-100 Snowblower will fit and work both on a GT and SGT. The difference is, it will normally mount to a GT but you need a Mounting Adapter for the SGT, being 190-448-100. Thus, the 450 snowblower should mount to a GT with no adaptation.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
