Default New guy here from NE Ohio

Greetings,
Just an informal introduction here. My name is Tim and I live on the broken branch ranch in north east Ohio and just this year in a matter of a few weeks I went from no cub cadets to three cub cadets. Internet searches looking up info on different issues brought me to this website multiple times. So I figured I had better join.
All three have a story that goes with them but there sits a 149, a red 782, and a 1882, in varying conditions.
Looking forward to the time I know that will be spent here.

Tim

Welcome to OCC also.
Sadly you got the "virus" x 3 and it only gets worse.
The only cure is a total auction sale!
Then you can go about a normal life, breaking yer back on the ranch.

Welcome! I'm in the N.E Ohio as well. My 1400 custom QL got severely beat by the last serious snow fall a few weeks ago. Now, its weighted , and ready. A couple picts. Perhaps you recall. Clairdon, Chardon area.

Welcome Ohio Tim.

I'm down south east Ohio, 30 mins from Columbus. Enjoy your Cubs. If nothing else, they'll be around for a long time. I have a few, mostly sitting now but I still have them.
I don't exactly remember when I got my first, it's a 149 and I still have it. I'm thinking it was over 35 years ago.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
