The tiller is worth a couple hundred bucks if it's ALL there, and everything turns free.
If it doesn't start and run it's still a NON running Cub, no matter what parts it comes with. I'd be more concerned as to why some knot-head left the air cleaner off. If the 3 point hitch is all there and it has a manual lift, the tractor is worth $150.00/$175.00 plus whatever you're willing to pay for a pair of new, used tires.

Any 123 is priceless!!
Just kiddin'. The rear tires are ag tires, 8.5's I believe, and it has a somewhat new coil on it, but the muffler shield is not there, nor the grill or headlight/block out panel. I would probably go slightly higher than Mark and put the top value of the tractor (as a non-runner) at $225. He's on the money with the tiller, especially with a solid gearbox. EDIT: Frame is cut for quick access to driveline, so for me that would be a deal breaker....forget my above price.....No more than $150 for the tractor. Cub Cadet 123

I agree with 150. Maybe 200 if the tiller and rear lift are good
It needs some love.

I guess the reason why the flywheel broke/cracked was someone welded the drive shaft and it was out of balance or so I'm told

I'd pay $150 for the tiller and ask if I could have the tractor too. Looks like a lot of work to bring it up to shape. Only way I'd pay the prices discussed is if the attachments came with it. Otherwise, looks to me like a $50 (tops) tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
