Well, it does have a "LOW" tire. That is "O" is the first tractor I ever restored. The exhaust on my 1811 was super easy. I took of the original muffler and saved the clamps. I went to the hardware store and got chrome drain pipe. (They only make 2 diameters, but I don't remember which it is.) I sliced a slit in the end of the pipe lenght wise so the clamp would tighten correctly and they slipped right on. I did no cutting of length or anything. They fit perfect. The Right side of the tractor pipe does slightly rub the grille, but it can be "Fitted" by bending the drain pipe slightly by hand. Do this delicately and it will work. Be warned, it is LOUD!!!! I don't want to hi jack the thread, but here are more pics. I restored this machine when my Grandfather passed away. I was only about 10 when he bought it and it was his baby. I learned to mow on this machine when I was little. I restored it and customized it to be a garage queen. I do ride it once in a while to keep it limber, but it won't work another day in its life. Parades, shows, and maybe a pull or two is all it will see. I could make it stock again in 1 hour if I ever wanted to. BTW.... a 5 inch chrome car style open air cleaner will mount right on the bottom of the stock air filter base. LOL!!!

It sounds very similar to a Harley. The twin cylinder engine sounds like a cammed V-8 at idle though. Imagine sitting on a Harley with open pipes that exit over the front wheels. Yep, it's that loud.LOL!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
