Default Snow Cab

Even though this is almost humiliating, (because of xtremedrtbkr's beautiful 147 +cab)I want to post pics of the snow cab I built a couple of years ago.Its great to snow blow while in a toasty 75 degree cab.

You were smart in how you made it. I made it a lot harder just in the name of looks. Looks great!

You will be surprised at how well the qa42 works. We live in a Lake Erie Snowbelt and it goes through 12-18 inches of snow without a problem even if its wet snow.I cant wait to see how your diesel handles it.

After seeing yours, i am going to take the console and battery out and run a firewall all the way down. You have a much better design. There is no need to keep the console. It just takes up interior space.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
