hydro lift 1200??
Okay guys
My 1200 has the pulley on the fly wheel drive cup and that is how I would love to drive the little pump but location and mounting will be tight! I know this has been thought of before anyone got any great ideas? Here is a pic of the pump I looked up the specs once and it can be turned either direction and has a good range of RPM's that it operates at if I remember correctly. I love the idea of plumbing to the rear end for Hytran fluid but also thinking of finding a junk yard power steering reservoir. Bring on the ideas... I would like to keep it all tucked inside the covers and I forgot to mention I have all the lift stuff from donor 149 I believe it was.

Careful with the dual rotation. From what I understand the rotation can be built either way, but, not both.
The pump will make pressure in reverse rotation, but, will damage the input shaft seal. I will be watching your progress!! |

Haladex makes great pumps. If it was another lesser known company I would be worried about dual rotation but not with the Haladex pumps. You could use the rear end or have a small custom tank made that could tuck under the frame. It wouldn't need to be huge. I was hoping CAD would have had his figured out for you by now.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
