that is just freaking awesome!!!!! i love that!!! for the time being, i've decided to just "play" around with this kubota. i put new tubes in it and changed the oil. that's all that it needed. i may just keep everything "as is" with the cubs. it's hard to change perfection!!! i went and picked up a mitsubishi 3la 3cyclinder yesterday to put in my dads dozer. it runs like a top, but it makes it's HP at 3600 rpms, so that kinda sucks. i had my eye on a 25 hp Hatz aircooled, but the man sold it. oh well. good evening. jeff

I just looked at your album. That is a great machine. After seeing some of the stupid things the folks did to the Super that I bought when they swapped in the 24hp Honda, it's good to see a build with attention to detail (and an awesome paint job).
Have you plowed the garden with that yet? Anyway, great job, it makes me think of KSmith's 1/2 tractors. Ross

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
