And where I and my better half live is just outside of Barrie to the west, We are on a 10 acre hobby farm, we have a creek that runs through our land . Lots of grass, a bush lot , with trails for the lawn tractors with no decks, and we breed English Springer Spaniels. My shop is 200 feet away from home so I think there is little to want for, I consider myself very lucky, Now if I can get this thing called cash flow going.........

Default Throttle Control

Hello Dan,after much research,I found the engine is missing throttle parts, and has a worn-out throttle control rod in the carb.I tried to order the part thru my cub dealer,But,after 4 month's of no reply from B&S,this project is now in LIMBO.My cash flow is also down,no overtime for 09,maybe next year,Thanx again for the info, sometimes the obvious is hard to see!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
