Which dimension do you need? Width, depth, height? Your fabricating the box right? Best thing to do is figure out close to dims on the box then you should draw out the rest with your own dims. If your looking to copy one to the t I'm not sure how to help you.. at that point may as well just buy one

I would like all the dimensions if possible. Surly someone on here has one and could take some quick measurements I hope. Looks like a good design so I don't want to reinvent the wheel sort to speak. Also wonder if the blade is lower then the sides or even with sides? I have seen both. Making one will be cheaper then buying one.

I am not so sure about that, I mean its cool if you want to build one but between time and materials I doubt it would be any cheaper. Heres a brand new one that looks pretty well built. 1/4 steel sides and 1/2 steel supports. Looks pretty stout. Hes asking 500 Buy it now. I would think you could find a used one similar to this for half that

Edit,,

Even better,

Coop, he wants to copy a #40 IH box blade. The likes of which is not made anymore. Yes, you can buy a cheap flimsy one, but nothing as well made as a #40.

OP: Contact member Mike Masheris. He builds reproduction ones. Perhaps he will build you one, or get you what you need. Alvy linked to one of his threads on building them, in your other thread.

These are the dimensions that I got by email from a fellow member;

Width = 40" (IH40)

Sides = 14" at peak of the curvature

Height = 12"

Drawbar = Set 11" (on center) from back of bucket, and 5.5" from top of bucket.

This is the box blade I keep saying I'm gonna build;

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
